CT2004 Workshop on Computerized Tomography for Scientists and Engineers
Feb 13-15, 2004
Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, India
This workshop was a follow-up of CT2001, which was run in a tutorial mode in which the instructors were from IITK and five foreign guests. This time the lectures were given by 13 national experts and 4 foreign guests on various aspects of computerized tomography (CT) and its applications in nondestructive testing of solids and non-invasive measurements in fluids/gases/plasmas. The IITK contribution was in form of six posters covering theoretical, numerical and experimental activity carried out at IITK. There were also 4 contributed presentations from the participants. A total of 70 participants registered which included a large number of students (35) and a big group fro DRDL (Hyderabad).
All major national groups participated and made presentations covering all major aspects of gamma-ray, x-ray, laser, and ultrasonic instrumentation used in CT experiments.
