Study of the source code
Study of the source code shows that the program works on the basis of keywords in its dictionary. If your statement contains one of the keyboards it will categorize and then output some pre-decided lines according to the category (as per my examination and understanding).

The program responds really good when your sentence contains words like fuck, bitch, ass, etc; and asks you to mind your language. Hahahahaha!!!!
If the program not able to derive some meaning it will beat about the bush.
Changes
I think until language is not cognitively grounded, success cannot be achieved in Natural Language Processing. However, the program should expand it's dictionary and understand the variations in human sentences, i.e. at least semantically grounded.
