Steps to practise and learn

Study the words given on a sheet.

In your notebook, make three lists of words from it.

• In the first list (call it "Easy"), keep the words which you know very well.

• In the second list (call it "Next"), keep the words which you are somewhat familiar with.

• In the third list (call it "Later"), keep the words which are totally new to you.

Make sentences in the form, which is being currently covered in class, with most of the "Easy" words.

Find out the meaning of each word in the "Next" list and try to use them in sentences - of whatever form.

Study the spelling and sound patterns of the words in the "Later" list.
