How are we going to operate?

• Two weeks in each: Eight weeks
  • Five sessions in each: forty sessions
    • Each session:
      • class duration of 30 minutes:
        • Major segment: Instruction
        • Discussion: questions from audience
        • Tutorial: illustration of practice sessions
        • Pedagogy: instruction to teachers
      • to be uploaded one session a day,
      • along with its assignment,
      • with a due date of one week - 1:00 p.m. sharp.
      • Absolutely no option of extension of assignment submission deadline.
        Please do not embarrass us by making such a request.
        It pains us deeply to deny you anything.
      • Assignments to be submitted only in PDF format.
        In case you prepare your solution in MS-Office or any such software, convert it into a PDF file for submission.
        [Even clear handwritten assignments scanned into a PDF format is acceptable.]
      • Assignments typically do not have unique answers or solutions. There can be many different correct versions.
        In those assignments, where a suggestive solution may benefit a student, such a solution will be posted just after the submission deadline. (It will be nothing special, just one acceptable solution.)
      • For the course, a diary site

        will be maintained and updated on a daily basis with the material used or referred to in successive sessions.
      • The class proceedings (video) will be updated at the NPTEL course site

      • The assignment and solutions will be uploaded at both the sites.
