Mr. Elango K, obtained his B. Sc. degree (2002) from Kandaswamy Kandars College, Velur affiliated to Periyar University, Salem and M.Sc. degree in Inorganic Chemistry (2004) from University of Madras. He has been working as a Ph.D. student in IIT-Kanpur since July 2004. His main areas of research include synthesis of zinc aryloxides, hydroxyaryloxides and ionic liquids.

Mr. R. Srirambalaji, obtained his B. Sc. degree (2002) from A. M. Jain College, chennai affiliated to University of Madras and M.Sc. degree in Inorganic Chemistry (2004) from University of Madras. He has been working as a Ph.D. student in IIT-Kanpur since July 2004. His main areas of research include Coordination polymers based on imidazoles and benzimdazoles.
