My Research...
Well, some serious stuff here! But, very brief...
I am in the experimental Condensed matter physics research group at IITK. I am working under the supervision of Dr. Satyajit Banerjee. We are working on vortex physics. My primary interest is in "Superconductors and Superconducting Nanostructures".
My thesis title is "Static and driven phases of vortex matter in superconductors with intrinsic and nanopatterned pins".
The primary activity in our lab is "magneto-optical imaging (MOI)". The high sensitivity magneto-optical imaging setup is the only setup of its kind in India. We are also in the process of developing the bitter decoration imaging technique. The details regarding all the acivities in the lab can be found here on our lab page.
