About me
At IIT Kanpur, my research is centred on advancing the theory and development of wireless and cellular communication systems. We utilise a unique combination of theory and practical development of wireless systems to tackle the pressing problems in this domain. We work closely with various govt organisations, industry and R&D groups to accomplish this.

[Current Interests] Performing standard specific research – currently leading a govt-funded project to generate IPR and take those IPRs as contributions to 5G+/6G standard
[Current Interests] Building wireless systems to evaluate their realistic performance – recently designed the first indigenous 5G network.
Built remote radio head and baseband unit hardware from scratch.

[Dec. 2024] Four of our papers are accepted for publication in IEEE Wireless Communications and Networking Conference (WCNC), to be held in Milan, Italy.
[Nov. 2024] Our paper on analysis and optimization of IRS-aided massive MIMO systems will appear in IEEE Transactions on Communications.
[Nov. 2024] Patent on novel pilot design for OTFS systems is approved.
[Oct. 2024] Our paper on variational Bayesian learning for cell-free systems will appear in IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing.
