About me

I am currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Kanpur. I led the effort from IIT Kanpur to design the indigenous 5G network. I am also currently leading the 5G and beyond standardization project from IIT Kanpur.

Employment

Between my M.S. and Ph.D., I worked in the telecom R&D industry for 8 years where I designed, built and tested multiple state-of-the-art wireless systems from scratch. I worked at Center of Excellence in Wireless Technology (CEWiT) in Chennai as a Research Engineer where I designed a 4G LTE radio access network (RAN) testbed. Prior to that, I worked as a Design Lead in Midas Communications in Chennai, where I designed WiMAX base station and user equipments. Please visit the Projects tab for details.
