Prior to this, I was a Research Fellow on Casting Powders at Warwick Manufacturing Group (WMG), University of Warwick. I graduated with my Ph.D in Metallurgical Engineering from University of Utah in 2019, working with Prof. H.Y.Sohn. I received my Master of Technology (M.Tech) from IIT Bombay in 2013 and my Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) from Jadavpur University in 2011. I work in the broad area of process metallurgy with an emphasis on ferrous extraction. My current areas of interest include alternative (H2 - based) ironmaking, mould fluxes in continuous casting of steel, refractory interactions and process modelling. Please find my most recent CV here.
