Ambition : It seemed to be dynamic throughout my life. First I wish to be a fighter pilot by joining Indian Air Force when I was 8 years old. Then it changed to Scientist when I was at 15 years to help India to achieve her prowess in the field since then military power is highly dependent on science and technology. In the age of 18 years I sought admission to engineering after clearing WBJEE. But during my 4 years stay at the college I have learnt that technology alone is not enough for a country to establish supremacy in present global arena until and unless it is economically strong. So presently I want to be a successful entrepreneur having a highly rich business brain combined with sound technical knowledge.

Academic Career

Introduction

Literally my first introduction into the world of academics was done by my father who taught me with immense patience the lingo of phonetics (verbal) and scripts (written). He continued to be my support in academics till twelfth standard.

Kindergarten

At the age of 3 years I was admitted to a primary school called "Kishalaya Bani Tirtha" near the Central Park of the satellite township of Kalyani in West Bengal. I can still remember my first day at school when I felt the trauma of separation from the atmosphere of home into a room filled with my contemporary mates.

Secondary Level

I was admitted to Class-1 in Julien Day School of Kalyani. I spent there 10 years of my life which proved to be a foundation to cope up with the immense competition in life which was yet to come after Class-10 board exams in the year 1998.

Senior Secondary Level

Since there was no Science stream at that time in JDS Kalyani for 10+2, I had to seek admission in the Future Foundation School, Calcutta. Here I learnt the skills required to tackle the complicated problems of basic sciences and also the rough and tough life in a metropolitan city like Kolkata. In the year 2000 I passed Class-12 board exam.

Undergraduate Level

After clearing WBJEE, I opted to seek admission to Kalyani Government Engineering College and went back to my hometown Kalyani after feeling suffocated in the last two years at Kolkata which allowed me to heave a sigh of relief in the soothing atmosphere of Kalyani and again a chance to stay with my parents there. I have completed my B.Tech. in Information Technology from there in the year 2004.

Post Graduate Level

Having cleared GATE, I completed my M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from University of Kalyani.

Job as Lecturer

After completing my M.Tech. I have joined JIS College of Engineering, Kalyani as Lecturer(full-time on regular basis) in the Department of Information Technology. I possessed more than a year long teaching experience from there.

Job @ IIT Kanpur

Soon, I joined IIT Kanpur as Computer Engineer(Design and Scientific Staff Cadre) in the Department of Computer Centre.
