A template in Latex for PhD/Masters degree. Includes chapters, bibliography, toc, appendix, etc. complete template.
MikTex is the main package which is available for free for both windows and linux. You will also be needing an editor for writing tex files. Texstudio is a good choice for starters as it has auto completion, special characters insert and lots of tools to make typing quick and easy.
How to Use
Extract the contents to the folder of your choice. Replace the user variables, i.e. authorname, supervisor name, thesis title, etc. in the file “Thesis.cls”. The bibliography can be cited using “/cite”. The bibliography file is already filled with entries to serve as a template. Replace the fields as required. Add Chapters as per the template in the folder ‘Chapter’.
The editor I use for managing latex projects is TexStudio. It has a great interface, easy to use and an inbuilt document viewer.
