Manas Chatterji Award for Excellence in Research in Regional Science – Received this award during the Regional Science Association International (RSAI) Symposium held at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore during Jan. 6-8, 2006. This award is instituted by Dr. Manas Chatterji, Professor of Management, School of Management, Binghamton University (State University of New York), Binghamton, NY on behalf of Regional Science Association - Indian Section.
Best Article of the Year Award – A research paper on “State Road Transport Undertakings, 1983-84 to 1996-97: A Multilateral Comparison of Total Factor Productivity” which appeared in May 2000 issue of the Indian Journal of Transport Management has been awarded as the Best Article of the Year 2000. The Association of State Road Transport Undertakings, New Delhi gives this award.
