Presently (June 2016), we have a post-doctoral fellow position open in the area of "Photonics of nanostructured materials / plasmonic nanostructures". Please apply if you have a Ph.D. in this area, and have experience in nanofabrication by lithographic methods and optical measurements.

Ph.D. Students

I am looking for highly motivated Ph.D. students to work on the following challenging problems
  1. Scanning near-field optical microscopy for study of radiation control by plasmonic nanostructures
    2. Interested students at IITK who are finishing their course work this semester should preferably contact me now (June 2016).



    M.Sc. Project Students

    M.Sc. project on "Enhanced visualization of fingerprints using optical techniques and nanotechnology" is being offered for this academic year 2016-2017. This project is expected to result in technological developments and patents. Students interested in starting up a company for developing the technology are specially encouraged to take on this project.
