MTH 889M: Introduction to Profession
and Communication Skills
Course Description:
To familiarize students with a few fundamental topics in Statistics and to train the students to present Statistics to an audience, and write proofs logically.
Prerequisites: None.
Schedule:
Location: TB207, Timings: WF: 10:30 PM - 12:00 PM
Structure
In the beginning, the first few lectures will be given by the faculty on any fundamental topic in Statistics. 2. In the remaining weeks, students will make presentations on topics assigned to them. Their talk should contain statistical concepts, computations, and some proofs.

The course is S/X. To pass the course, you must
