Motivation

I see my mother working hard daily to keep our house clean. When I was pondering over an idea for my B.Tech. project, this idea of a robot appealed to me very much. So, I went ahead and built the first prototype with my team.

How does it do ?

This robot mops the floor via replaceable foam pads, using clean water from an onboard water tank. The pads are attached to a horizontal rotating disc. The robot also detects obstacles through infrared proximity sensors and alters its path by turning through a right angle on the side it is free to move.
