Configuring DC++ from scratch

Through the steps below, we will setup our DC++ client to use the public hubs feature.

Advantage:

Once done, you won't need to worry about the future changes in the hub IP addresses. The hublist would be updated from our side, as and when required.
You will only need to refresh the public hublist to access the new/ moved hubs.

So, let's start:

After installing DC++, close all the windows that open in the first run.
Close the system log tab in the DC++ client as well. Then, you will have something like in step-1 shown below.

Follow the four Steps in the slides below :

Once you are done with these, you may scroll to the bottom slide in case, you haven't configured your DC++ client to set nick, default directories, connectivity etc. It is suggested that you verify your settings with those.
