Hello and welcome to my homepage. My name is Vivek Saxena, and I'm presently a final year undergraduate student majoring in Electrical Engineering, at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur. I belong to the North Indian city of Kanpur, where I did all my schooling before landing up at IITK. This is a random assortment of stuff I've put together, and so is by no means complete.

I also maintain a wiki, which is a collection of material related to Linux and other topics (anything that requires LaTeX!). I support the GNU/Linux initiative as far as possible, and encourage everyone to use open source alternatives to all commonly used computer programs. If you are new to open source, Linux and GNU, but are interested to learn more about all this, I strongly recommend clicking on the link below to see a very short video introduction that will walk you through the essentials. This website is hosted by IITK's personal homepage server which runs on RedHat Enterprise Linux, and is best viewed with Mozilla Firefox and a minimum resolution of 1024x768 pixels.
