1. Like mathematics, numerics and programming? Try these problems.
2. An article I wrote on how to write a passable technical paper.
3. An elementary continuation method.
4. Elementary lecture notes on nonlinear vibrations.
5. A
talk I gave here on the teaching of rotations, Euler angles, and angular
velocity (here).
6. My lecture notes on dynamics
of mechanical systems.
7. Saurabh Biswas
and I developed a brand new frictional hysteresis model that captures minor
loops (yay!). While we probably find this more
exciting than you do, it is a nice
model, and available here.
To appreciate the model, you might like to first feel frustrated with the
famous Bouc-Wen model for about 3 years. We did.
8. ME department comprehensive
exam in mathematics, 2017. Old papers 1, 2, 3. Some example problems from me
and PW, here.
