I shall discuss some preliminary results on reconstruction of fields in the (d+1)-dimensional Minkowski space from conformal fields on a celestial (d-1)-dimensional sphere.
Anurag Sahay
In this talk I shall first introduce the program of thermodynamic information geometry in a general setting, with an emphasis on the state space scalar curvature. Then I will describe the method of constrained fluctuations for multiparameter systems and apply it to a few classical lattice spin models in 1D. Furthermore, I will describe the geometry of frustrated chains and make some predictions based on the landscape of curvature. Finally, I will share my perspective on the program.
Vinay Malvimat
Multipartite entanglement is considerably richer and more intricate than its bipartite counterpart, with important implications for quantum information, quantum communication and many-body quantum systems. In this talk, I will introduce Latent Entropy (L-entropy), a novel measure of genuine multipartite entanglement with a broad range of applications, including many-body systems, quantum field theories, and holography. Constructed from an upper bound on reflected entropy, L-entropy attains its maximal value, as expected from quantum-information considerations, for GHZ states in three-party systems and for 2-uniform states in n-party systems with n >= 4. I will discuss the key properties of L-entropy and its ability to characterize genuine multipartite entanglement. Finally, I will explore its holographic realization and its potential to reveal the multipartite entanglement structure of CFTs dual to multi-boundary wormholes.
Tapobrata Sarkar
When a stellar binary encounters a spinning black hole, interesting phenomena might result due to the mutual interaction between the binary spin, orbital angular momentum and the black hole spin. In this talk, I will consider such an encounter between an intermediate mass spinning black hole and a close identical white dwarf binary system whose center of mass follows a parabolic trajectory. After discussing the physics, I will argue that in such encounters the mass fallback rate into the black hole may show a typical three-hump structure that might be a smoking gun signature of tidal disruption of binaries.
