Haptics for Driver Alerts

We investigate different modalities by which the critical information about the on-road events could be fed to the drivers through different modalities. It involves different sensory experiences from vision, auditory, speech and haptics (touch). We are exploring giving haptic feedback in driver seat, steering wheel and seat-belt to perceive critical information by the driver.
