Gravity-based energy storage, progressing from a 30W lab proof-of-concept to successive field prototypes, culminating in a 5 kW × 1 hour demonstration plant, achieving validated performance with 65% round-trip efficiency for long-duration energy storage applications.
Artificial Intelligence based Cost-Optimization in Indian Railways Minimizing Overall Carbon Emission
Developed the indigenous AI based load forecasting for the Indian Railways to be deployed at 14 different states. Also, AI based solar and wind forecasting models have been developed.
Resilience and Cyber security Enhancement for an optimized Distribution System Using Block Chain
Developing a resilient, cyber-secure distribution grid using a three-layer architecture integrating solar PV, battery storage, and electric vehicles, enhanced by blockchain-based optimization and cybersecurity, and validated through simulation and power-hardware-in-the-loop experimentation for reliable, sustainable energy delivery.
Development of New Gen PhotoVoltaic Inverter for Indian Market
To develop the next generation solar inverter at MW level which will operate according to the Grid Code; including parallel operation, HVRT, LVRT, ZVRT, frequency change, phase zump, fault detection, anti-Islanding properties.
