I graduated from Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology Shibpur in Aerospace Engineering. From 2015-2019 I studied here in the Dept. of Aerospace Engineering and Applied Mechanics. The motivation to study further (i.e., pursue research) gained importance during these days. Since my school (M. C. Kejriwal Vidyapeeth, Liluah, Howrah) days, where I studied upto class 10 and then 11&12, I had been inclined more towards mathematics than possibly any other subject. However, the world of aerospace made me aware that there are many more subjects to learn and understand for me.

So, pursuing a PhD in this field not only suits my short-term goals but also will help me in my long-term plans is my firm belief. The area of research has been chosen such that it is useful for the Nation and anyone in general. Usefulness is a key parameter to gauge an object, especially when we spend time doing it. With the guidance of my advisors, I am happy to have chosen the realm of fluid-structure interaction as a starting point of my research.
