Dr. Noimur Rahman has a Ph.D. in Synthetic Organic Chemistry from North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong, Meghalaya. He completed his first Post-Doctoral research work at the School of Chemical Sciences, UM-DAE Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences, Mumbai, from June 2022 to April 2023. Currently, he is working as an Institute Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Department of Chemistry, IIT Kanpur from May 2023. His area of research focuses on the ring-opening transformations of donor–acceptor cyclopropanes (DAC) with carbon-centered nucleophiles; and synthesis of magnetic nanocatalysts as well as their exploitation in synthesis of medicinally important heterocyclic compounds through green protocols.
