Dr. Noimur Rahman has a Ph.D. in Synthetic Organic Chemistry from North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong, Meghalaya. He completed his first Post-Doctoral research work at the School of Chemical Sciences, UM-DAE Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences, Mumbai, from June 2022 to April 2023. Currently, he is working as an Institute Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Department of Chemistry, IIT Kanpur from May 2023. His area of research focuses on the ring-opening transformations of donor–acceptor cyclopropanes (DAC) with carbon-centered nucleophiles; and synthesis of magnetic nanocatalysts as well as their exploitation in synthesis of medicinally important heterocyclic compounds through green protocols. Dr. Prasanta Roy studied his M.Sc (2010) from Visva-Bharati University and Ph.D (Synthetic Organic Chemistry) from the Department of Chemistry, Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati in the year 2016. He did his first post-doctoral research work (Asymmetric Organic Synthesis) at Fujian Institute of Research on the Structure of Matter, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China (09/2016 - 08/2018). He did his 2nd post-doctoral research work (Organic Synthesis and Medicinal Chemistry) at Yunnan University, China (03/2019 - 02/2021).
