I am a PhD candidate in the Electrical Department (SPCOM) at IIT Kanpur working on "Explainable AI for music analysis". I earned a BTech in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Ludhiana and an MTech from NIT, Jalandhar. I have been learning Gurmat Sangeet for the past eleven years. With a solid academic background in AI/ML, Signal Processing, and Gurmat Sangeet, I am exploring the intersection of technology and creativity. I am extremely enthusiastic about music. I also enjoy participating in a variety of sports, particularly badminton and cricket. I aspire to make a significant contribution to the research community during and after my PhD studies at IIT, Kanpur.
