About me

Greetings! I am Sabyasachi Chakraborty, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, a position I have held since August 2022. My research primarily focuses on theoretical particle physics, particularly on Beyond the Standard Model Physics. For further details, please refer to my updated CV.

Research Interests

  • Intensity Frontier: Low energy effective field theory (HQET, SCET etc). Searches for axions and dark photons.

  • Cosmic Frontier: Wess-Zumino-Witten interactions and cooling of stellar objects. Electroweak Phase Transition.

  • Theory Frontier: Soft collinear effective theory for gravity. Supersoft supersymmetry.

  • Energy Frontier: Collider searches for new physics, soft tracks.
