2002 Refurbished the old television centre

2005 Established the Media Technology Centre with State-of-the-Art infrastructure consisting of broadcast standard video recording equipment and devices and professional editing set-up and the necessary hardware, software and human resource for e-content creation, graphics and web design. Supported with Funds received from Ministry of Human Resource and Development and Ministry of Information Technology, GOI for NPTEL and MLA projects

2008 Established the Community Radio Station, 90.4 F.M with partial funding from Ministry of Broadcast

2009 Shifted the Design Programme with all resources and infrastructure from SAMTEL Research Centre to the Helicopter Building
2015 Created the Lab/Studio for Leather Handicrafts Products for Development of Kanpur Cluster, in Design Programme, with partial funding from Ministry of Textiles

2005 Member of the technical committee for E-Class Rooms (L14, L15)

2015 Member of the technical committee for New Lecture Hall Extension (L18-L20)

2015 Member of the technical committee for IIT Kanpur Outreach Centre at Noida

2008 Member of the technical committee for audio visual refurbishment of Auditoriums in Outreach Centre

2002 Member of the technical committee for audio visual refurbishment of Auditoriums in Community Centre I

2016 Established the VC and PD Labs for the Design Innovation Centre

2018 Member of the executive committee: NTA at the IIT Kanpur Outreach Centre, Noida

2019 Member of Institute Infrastructure Project Management Committee

2024 Moved the Media Technology Centre to the Diamond Jubilee Research Complex in a larger space and created the studio facilities
