For all participants, Non-AC double room accommodation on a shared basis has been arranged in our Guest House for the period 06.05.2007 to 12-05-2007. All participants should bear the boarding and lodging charges by themselves.

Room charges: Non-AC Double Shared: Rs.60 per day per person. Participants can opt for AC rooms, if available, when they arrive at IIT Kanpur.

Weather at Kanpur

The weather at Kanpur in May will be quite warm. Day-time temperature ranges from 32-38°C. The night temperature may be lower (25-30°C).

How to reach

Kanpur, a major city of Uttar Pradesh is well-connected by rail, road and air to all the parts of the country. The railway station is at a distance of about 15 km from the IITK campus. A regular auto-rickshaw (about Rs. 100) and taxi service (about Rs. 170) from the station are available. Interested participants are advised to make railway reservation well in advance as May is rush season.
