EPP Course Updates (Nov 2015 to Nov 2016)

  Venue: L1 and L2, Lecture Hall Complex, IIT Kanpur.
  
• Online ToEFL question paper
  Download it, write the 4-digit confidential "Code No." assigned to you at the top left corner of the page, write your solutions, and send us your answersheet in PDF format through an email to epp.iitkanpur@gmail.com till 11 a.m. on 9th Nov (Mon).
• ToEFL Result declared (22 Nov).
• 2 Dec 2015: First meeting of the course:
  • Action Plan.
  • The course diary.
  • Initiation of Module Zero.
• Module Zero classes: 02-30 Dec 2015, Mon-Fri, 3-5 pm, at L9, LHC, IIT Kanpur.
  (It is not an integral part of the course (Modules 1-4), but a primer for the it.)
  • Needed for those with ToEFL Score D or lower.
  • Advisable for those with ToEFL Score C.
  • Highly advisable for those who are interested in 'teaching', irrespective for their current ToEFL score (or level of English proficiency).
  • Those who have not taken ToEFL and do not know their current level should join it and continue till we conduct another round of ToEFL.
• Module 1 Started: 1 Jan 2016 (Fri). Lesson 1 and Assignment 1 uploaded.
  Submit Assignment 1 Solution by 8 Jan 2016. Consult course diary.
• Classroom sessions start: 2 Jan 2016 (Sat) at L9, LHC, IITK.
  January schedule of classes: 2,3, 9,10, 16,17, 23,24, 30,31.
• Classroom ToEFL conducted: 9 Jan 2016.
  Results declared: 21 Jan 2016.
• 25 Jan 2016: Registration closed in this round of the course.
  New registrants will now be given the course in a fresh round, that will be started as soon as there is enough fresh registrations.
• Schedule of classes for coming months:
  February: 6,7, 27,28;
  March: 5, 12,13, 19, 26.
• Comprehensive test on Module 1: 28 Mar (Mon) - 29 Mar (Tue). See course diary for details.

  April: 9,10, 16, 30.
