• Ni → least ductile → least Poisson's ratio (0.31) → experiences maximum strain
  

• Al-1%Mg → ductility between Ni and Pt → Poisson's ratio (~0.34) → medially strained
  
• Pt → most ductile → Poisson's ratio (0.38) → experiences least strain
  
• Al-1%Mg starts to stabilize after 40% of the time and platinum experiences more strain than Al-1%Mg after 80% time due to continuous rise in strain experienced by platinum as compared to the stabilization experienced by Al-1%Mg.
