Organization of Conferences, Symposium and Seminar organized in the field of Solar Energy
Patents:
1. A National Conference on the Emerging Trends in the Photovoltaic Energy Generation and Utilization (NCETPEGU) was successfully organized at IIT, Kanpur from 27-29 March 2008. http://www.iitk.ac.in/photovoltaics/. Various events like tutorials on Photovoltaic, Exhibition of Solar products, panel discussion, poster paper presentation besides usual scientific papers were presented.
To commemorate the occasion, a 1.2 KW high efficiency Solar Photovoltaic Concentrator (Courtesy: Moser Baer Photovoltaic Pvt Ltd., Greater Noida and Bergen Electronic, Gurgaon) has been installed in the Lawn of Media Asia Lab. Its performance has been put on line and data in real time can be downloaded from any part of the world.
2. International Conference on Photovoltaic Science and Technology to be held on 13 Jan 2010. http://www.iitk.ac.in/ispst. Various events like tutorials on Photovoltaic, exhibition of Solar products, panel discussion, poster paper presentation besides usual scientific papers were presented.
3. Seminar on Micro Solar Energy Generation and Utilization (www.iitk.ac.in/solarenergy) was organized on 3-4 Sep 2011 in association with IETE Kanpur Center. The focus of the seminar was to make solar energy viable for small house hold and commercial installations. Like previous events, exhibition of Solar products, panel discussion, poster paper presentation besides usual scientific papers were presented.
