Current Areas of Research :
The main area of research is Harmonic Analysis. To a
large extent it can be described as the study of two Banach algebras:
the group algebra and the measure algebra of a locally compact group.
The relation between these is that the measure algebra is isometrically
isomorphic to the multiplier algebra of the group algebra.
The specific problems of interest consist of the investigation of the
following:
(a) Multiplier algebras of various function spaces on groups.
(b) Harmonic Analysis of operators on function spaces on groups.
(c) Interplay between Korovkin Approximation Theory and Harmonic
Analysis.
