This innovation has been developed by Prof. Anand K. Jha and senior project scientist Dr. Suman Karan at IIT Kanpur. This device can rotate any wavefront by 360 degrees while keeping the angular deviation to be less than one mili-radian and the mean polarization change to be less than 5%. This device can have commercial implications for applications in OAM-based high-dimensional classical and quantum information and quantum imaging. This innovation is one of the key deliverables of the quantum imaging technical group, an initiative under the National Quantum Mission, DST, Govt. of India. The broadband uniform efficiency OAM detector has been developed by Prof. Anand K. Jha and senior project scientist Dr. Suman Karan at IIT Kanpur. This detector measures OAM spectrum of classical and single-photon fields with 98% fidelity with more than 100-dimensional mode-spectrum. This innovation is one of the key deliverables of the quantum imaging technical group, an initiative under the National Quantum Mission, DST, Govt. of India. We celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the Quantum Optics and Entanglement Lab. Our deepest gratitude extends to each member, past and present, whose contributions have shaped our journey. For a decade, our lab has passionately delved into the realms of coherence and quantum entanglement, focusing on Orbital Angular Momentum (OAM), spatial, and radial degrees of freedom. We are committed to making meaningful contributions to quantum metrology, information, communication, and imaging.
