I am a Civil Engineer turned geoinformatics researcher, currently enrolled as a doctoral student at the Department of Civil Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IITK). After graduating as a civil engineer from College of Tehnology, Pantnagar, my post-graduate study at IITK, has been full of challenges and opportunities. My broader area of research is application of GIS for effective management of public parking spaces, particularly for low- and mid- income countries. I have a good knowledge of civil engineering courses. I also have hands-on experience with many GIS software.
