Awards/ Scholarships during PhD
- Received Third Prize in poster presentation titled “Biomotor Patterning and Nanoengineered Cellulosic Material” at Crossover 2007 conference.
- Received Second Prize in a poster presentation at ESM Today (2005). Presented a poster titled “Motor Surface Processing Approaches”.
- Received scholarship to attend a conference sponsored by The Center for the Integration of Research, Teaching, and Learning and National Science Foundation (2006). Developed the skills to communicate with a diverse audience and to mediate a balance between interdisciplinary groups. The scholarship was given to selected PhD students with exceptional background and who wanted to pursue their career in academia.
