Coordinator (Since 2009)
Co-ordinator, National Information Center of Earthquake Engineering (NICEE) at IIT Kanpur, since 2009. Supported by an endowment corpus of over Rs 100 lacs, the centre is actively engaged in dissemination of information and literature since 1999. It is equipped with a good collection of study materials and books in earthquake engineering related topics. It also helps in publication and wide dissemination through its subscriber base of over 11000 for its electronic newsletter and active website (www.nicee.org), In addition, NICEE has undertaken a range of capacity building activities towards earthquake safety such as organising Literature Review/Workshops. The Centre operates without any budget from government sources, and is funded entirely by donations, interest of the endowment, sale of publications and sponsorships.

Scribe (Since 2009) and Member (2007-09)
For quarterly periodical from NICEE, Earthquake Engineering Practice, to disseminate information about current research and state-of-the-art in earthquake engineering to engineers in developing countries. Consists of already published articles in reputed international journals of wide interest to the professionals, academicians and researchers.
