Professional Experience

  • Worked in LPS Ltd, Haryana (1995-1996) as Metallurgical Laboratory In-charge. Dealt with different testing of fasteners.
  • Worked in TELCO, Jamshedpur (1998-2001) as Shift-In-Charge in Foundry section (HPML). Dealt with melting operation of grey cast iron required for automobile castings (engine blocks, heads, manifold, clutch housing etc.) and molding and casting processes.
  • SRF at IIT Kharagpur (Mar 2005-Aug 2005) and dealt with stress corrosion behavior of Ni-based alloys.
  • Postdoc in Japan (National Institute for Materials Science; 2005-2007). Dealt with development of new bulk metallic glass compositions and the deformation behavior of metallic glass.
