We broadly research to understand the mechanical response and behavior of structural materials by performing testing over length and time scales. We intend to direct our research, including quasi-static to dynamic deformation, time-dependent deformation, and cryogenic to high-temperature deformations. We employ different synthesis and processing techniques to develop advanced engineering materials. We also use advanced microstructural/ structural characterization with mathematical modeling and computational tools to decipher materials' deformation behavior
