Dhwani Lab ( Acoustics Lab )

The Dhwani Laboratory ( Acoustics lab ) at IIT Kanpur conducts research in areas of acoustics, noise and its control, speech, acoustic transducers, vibrations and NVH. Additionally, several of its members are also actively engaged in New Product Design requiring integration of diverse technologies. Further, the Lab also engages in adjacent areas of research including those of composite structures, and dynamics. The Laboratory is actively engaged in supporting the needs of several national R&D organizations as well as the private sector.
