Hindi Sahitya Sabha conducts the word game competition called "Saptarang" in
antaragni, masti, galaxy .Grammatical knowledge of the students is tested in this
competition.
Various things related to grammar and Hindi literature fall under this competition.

AAMNE SAAMNE :-
You must have seen various discussion panel shows coming up on news channels. AAMNE SAAMNE is a mock set up of what this actually feels like. The competition tests group discussion , oratory and debating skills. It consists of two rounds.
Round 1:
Group Discussion

In GD participants will be divided into groups of about 8 people.

They will be given a topic for discussion.
-
Participants are expected to come out with a conclusion.
-
On the basis of their performance in round 1, 12 participants will qualify for the final round.
Round 2:
Panel Discusson
-
A discussion panel will be formed consisting of people from various sectors of society with different viewpoints and a panel coordinator. Topic for panel discussion will be declared well before. Each participant will be given a role chosen from lottery at the end of Round 1 result declarations.

It is the duty of panel coordinator to provide equal and fair opportunity to each person on the panel to present their ideas. He has to ensure smooth conduction of panel talks within the given time limit. Simultaneously, he will be addressing the public and raising questions to the panel members on behalf of public .His job would be similar to that of a news reporter.

Judging will be done on how effective the participant has been in conveying his/her ideas. Judging for panel coordinator as well as the other members will be equally fair and unbiased.
Abhivyakti :-
Every year Hindi Sahitya Sabha conducts this competition in galaxy for self written
poetry recitation .Under the current format of this competition, 2 participants are
selected for the final round from each pool. There, they have to present their self
written poems in front of the audience on the rasas allotted to them by lottery. Apart from it, there is also a pool poem submitted by each pool glorifying their pool.
GupChup :
It is a Hindi Dumb Charades game. Dumb Charades always ensure a lot of fun, innovative ways of enacting simple words and huge participation. It is an acting game in which one player acts out a word or phrase and the other players guess the word or phrase. It includes the usual dumb charades and much more - Books, personalities, events, pictures… everything actions can express with your lips sealed.
A team should consist of exactly three members
There will be two rounds. Some teams will be selected for final round for an interesting and challenging competition.
Normal Dumb Charades rules apply. Also, all rules will be explained on the spot.
GENERAL GUIDELINES:
The participants might be given anything to act out, right from movies and books to abstract words and personalities, real or fictional.
These include things like no splitting of words, no rhyming, no enactment of out-of-context meanings of words, no reference of proper nouns with their meanings (e.g. A `spear` for Britney Spears is not allowed), and no depiction of Individual letters and numbers.
Conventions for common words are allowed and heavily encouraged.
Bas Ek pal :
Hindi Sahitya Sabha has started a new competition round since the
past year. This competition has been started off on the lines of
English competition "Just A Minute". In this competition,
Participants have to speak up as much as possible on the given
words. They have to follow some pre declared rules while speaking.
Coordinators are there to ensure free, fair and smooth conduction of
the event. The participant speaking for longer duration gets more
points. You get a chance to speak only when you spot others'
mistakes. Separate points are awarded for catching others' mistakes.
Masti :
Masti is the competition week organized especially for freshers . It is generally held soon after freshers' night. It includes lots of fun filled events like sapatrang, gupchup, tark, mayaajaal etc.
