Introduction

Hindi Sahitya Sabha comes under the literary Society of IIT Kanpur. It is a part of cultural council of the institute Gymkhana. Main vision of the club is to spread awareness and interest for Hindi language and literature in the campus community. All the Hindi literary events held in the campus are organized by us. These include the Masti competition organized for freshers, inter-hall competition galaxy events, Hindi literary events of Antaragni, spectrum Hindi events etc.
We also conduct Hindi Learning classes for those who are from non Hindi background. Last year, we also started academic classes in Hindi for first yearites in collaboration with Counselling service of the institute.
The Club is also undertaking the project for translation of the famous book “Concepts of Physics ” by Dr. H. C. Verma in Hindi. The annual Hindi magazine of the institute “Antas” also started last year. We also organize various shows on the campus radio 90.4 FM such as “Man ki Awaaj” and “Bikhre Moti” etc.
