Hello world!

I am R.S. Ashwin Kumar, working as an Assistant Professor in the Microelectronics and VLSI group, Electrical Engineering department of IIT Kanpur. My research interest is mixed-signal integrated circuit design and signal processing.

More about me:

I obtained my master's (by research), and Ph.D. from IIT Madras, where I worked under the supervision of Prof. Nagendra Krishnapura. During my Ph.D., I came up with new techniques for realizing multi-channel analog-to-digital converters using delta-sigma modulators (More details here). Prior to this, I received my bachelor's in engineering (B.E.) from the Electronics and Communication Engineering department in the College of Engineering Guindy (CEG), Anna University, Chennai.

Call for research students:

Admissions for M.S., and Ph.D. happen twice a year, usually, in January and July. For more information, please visit this page. If you are interested to work with me, drop me an email (to ashwinrs@iitk.ac.in) with your CV/resume.
