Hello world!

I am R. S. Ashwin Kumar, an Assistant Professor in the Microelectronics and VLSI group, Electrical Engineering department of IIT Kanpur. I am a part of the Solid-state circuit design (SSCD) lab at IIT Kanpur. Prior to this, I got my master's & Ph.D. from IIT Madras, where I worked on multi-channel delta-sigma analog-to-digital converters with Prof. Nagendra Krishnapura.

My broad research interest is analog & mixed-signal integrated circuit design and signal processing.

Besides research, I am passionate about teaching, especially breaking down a seemingly complex idea and explaining it by deriving it from scratch. I regularly record and upload the classroom lectures so that anyone interested can learn and benefit. You can find them here.
