- Need for non-linear networks to build amplifiers, MOSFET, biasing MOSFET, small-signal analysis
- Single-transistor amplifiers: common-source, common-drain and common-gate stages
- Frequency response: poles, zeros
- Systematic analog design using the "gm/Id" technique
- Multi-stage amplifiers & stability in negative feedback loops; Miller-compensation, feed-forward compensation, nested Miller and feed-forward compensation
- Noise & mismatch in resistors and MOSFETs; Calculating the input-referred noise in amplifiers
- Fully differential amplifiers, common-mode feedback (CMFB), stabilizing CMFB loops
