A. Conferences/Workshops Awards and Academic Excellence Awards:

  • Mr. Ayush Goel has been selected for the The Overseas Visiting Doctoral Fellowship-2024, an exchange programme for Indian students at the Purdue University, West Lafayette, USA.
  • Mr. Umar Khalid Khan has received the Mangala Bamne Young Scientist Award, for oral presentation during the Indian Association for Cancer Research (IACR) annual conference, Jan 2024, held at IISER Pune, Pune.
  • Mr. Tanay Biswas has been selected for The Mehta Rice Engineering Scholars Program 2023, an exchange programme for Indian students at the Rice University, Houston, Texas.
  • Ms. Ahana Sarkar was selected for the Ansys Fellowship, 2023 sponsored by Ansys Software Company.
  • Dr. Sakshi Goel has been selected for the INSA Medal for Young Scientists 2022.
  • Ms. Mahima Bharti received the the Best Poster award in the Annual BSBE winter symposium 2022 organized by the Department of Biological Sciences and Bioengineering, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IITK).
  • Ms. Anjali Yadav got selected for the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Global Scholar-in-Training Award (GSITA) for presenting a research paper at the AACR Annual Meeting 2022, New Orleans, US from April 8-13th, 2022.
  • Ms. Anjali Yadav was selected for the DST-AWSAR 2021 best scientific story.
  • Ms. Sakshi Goel scored "First Position" in the Saransh, a National Level Science Communication Competition in Life Sciences category (2021) organized by the Indian National Young Academy of Sciences (INYAS).
  • Dr. Ritika Tiwari has been selected for the INSA Medal for Young Scientists 2021.
  • Ms. Nishat Manzar has been one of the primary awardees of the SASTRA-Professor Saroj Chandrasekhar Memorial Award 2021.
  • Dr. Ritika Tiwari has been one of the finalists for the Inspiring Science Award 2021 for the best published scientific paper in the Life Sciences from India.

  • Ms. Sakshi Goel received Scholar in Training Award from the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR)-NCI-EORTC International Conference on Molecular Targets and Cancer Therapeutics, Boston (October 26-30, 2019).
  • Ms. Nishat Manzar received Women-in-Cancer Research (WICR) Scholar Award from the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR)-NCI-EORTC International Conference on Molecular Targets and Cancer Therapeutics, Boston (October 26-30, 2019).
  • Mr. Vipul Bhatia was awarded second prize for the Best Oral Presentation of Roche Scholar-In-Training Award at 38th Annual Convention of Indian Association for Cancer Research (IACR), Chandigarh, 2019.
  • Ms. Sakshi Goel received second best poster presentation of Roche Scholar-In-Training Award at the 38th Annual Convention of Indian Association for Cancer Research held at Chandigarh (March 1-3, 2019).
  • Ms. Nishat Manzar received second best poster presentation of Roche Scholar-In-Training Award at the 38th Annual Convention of Indian Association for Cancer Research held at Chandigarh (March 1-3, 2019).
  • Mr. Vipul Bhatia won the best poster presentation award at UK-India Cancer Bioinformatics Workshop 2018 (28th-31st, October 2018) held at the Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC), Tata Memorial Centre, Mumbai. This workshop was jointly organized by the ACTREC, Tata Memorial Centre, Mumbai and King’s College London, UK.
  • Mr. Shivansh Nigam was awarded the most inquisitive person in the 3rd National Hands-on-Workshop on Advanced Bio-Analytical Techniques: From Method Development to Data Interpretation held at AIIMS, New Delhi from 17th – 19th Dec. 2018.
  • Ms. Anjali Yadav won the best poster award at Cell Death in Cancer and Toxicology (CDCT) conference, 2018 organised by CSIR-Indian Institute of Toxicology Research, Lucknow, India.
  • Ms. Ritika Tiwari was awarded with the best poster presentation for “SPINK1 confers chemoresistance in Colorectal Cancer by upregulating Metallothioneins.” Conference organised by Asian Clinical Oncology Society-Indian Association of Cancer Research (ACOS-IACR), 2016, New Delhi, India.
  • Mr. Vipul Bhatia was awarded with the second prize at the winter school workshop, 2015 on Analysis of Massively Parallel Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) Data organized by National Institute of Biomedical Genomics, Kalyani, West Bengal (2015).
  • Ms. Manasa Srinivasa received academic excellence award 2015-2016.
  • Ms. Gurcharan Kaur received academic excellence award 2014-2015.
  • Mr. Akshay Shendre was awarded Summer Innovation Award 2019 established under Joy Gill Endowment Fund.

B. International Travel Awards:
