Our group's research focuses on the design and fabrication of spin devices and their spin transport measurement. Our main research focuses are:

  • Micro and nano spin device fabrication
  • High-speed dynamics in spin devices
  • Spin transport in ferromagnet/heavy metal interfaces
  • Spin to charge and charge to spin interconversion
  • Femtomagnetism and ultrafast spintronics
  • In-situ and operando electron nanoscopy
  • Magnonics and Neuromorphic computing

We are part of the department of physics at Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT Kanpur). Undergraduate and postgraduate students who are interested in doing research in the field of spintronics may contact Rohit.
