Dr. Arun Singh Dev
Arun Singh Dev is an institute post-doctoral fellow (IPDF). His research interests include the Magnetic thin films/multilayers and organic spin valve structures. He completed his Ph.D. from UGC-DAE CSR Indore and served as research associate at Department of Physics, IIT Bombay. His other interests include playing table tennis and cricket, working out and watching horror podcasts.

Dr. Hukam Singh
Hukam is currently a RA in the group. Prior to this, he completed his PhD in the Department of Physics at IIT Kanpur, focusing on studies of modal loss and the sensing characteristics of photonic crystal fibers. His other interests include running, yoga, cricket, frisbee, and watching movies.

Ayush K Gupta
Ayush is a second year PhD student. He is working on research project which involves computational and experimental investigation of Spin Hall Nano Oscillator as a candidate for fast and low power consuming AI devices. He is also a Prime Minister's Research Fellow. His other interests include playing badminton, reading books and playing guitar.

Sachin Kumar
Sachin is a second year PhD student. He has currently been working on spin pumping and spin orbit torques. He also works on the theoretical study of Inertial Magnetization Dynamics. He has been awarded the Prime Minister's Reserach Fellowship. His other interests include playing volleyball, cooking and singing.

Amrendra is a PhD student and joined the lab in 2022. He is working towards understanding the ultrafst spin dynamic in magnetic materials and out of equillibrium transport. He is a PMRF. Apart from this he likes taekwondo, watching movies and photography.

Mohit is a 1st year Ph.D. student he joined dept. of Physics IIT Kanpur in January 2022. He is currently working on Device Fabrication, which involves Photolithography Method. His research interest also include the micromagnetic simulation of the synthetic antiferromagnets. His other interests include Sketching, Anime, playing Basketball and Cricket.

Rishabh Verma
Rishabh was a MSc student in the lab and has decided to continue his doctoral research in lab. Currently he is working on the Superconductive spintronics and Device fabrication. His main focus is on the super current generated at the interfaces of superconductors and ferromagnets. He is also a Chanakya fellow. He loves playing Cricket and Badminton and watching sci-fi movies.

Aman Agrahari
Aman is a PhD and joined the lab in July 2023. He is currently working on spintronics device fabrication and characterization which involves Spin hall effect, inverse spin hall effect, transport properties etc. His other interests are watching web series, reading novels and playing chess.

Aman Khosla
Aman Khosla is continuing his first year as a PhD student after completing his MSc project in the same lab. His research focuses on magnetic vortex dynamics with spin current and its application in novel computing techniques. Aman is also a Chanakya fellow. Additionally, he is involved in experimental investigations of Magnon Bose-Einstein Condensate (BEC) and its implications in quantum circuits. Besides his academic pursuits, he enjoys playing cricket and badminton, as well as watching anime.

Mohd. Shaikh Sabir
Sabir is a fifth-year BS-MS student in the Department of Physics working on his MS thesis. His research focuses on the computational and experimental investigation of magnons (collective excitation of spins leading to spin waves) in magnetic materials and the application of spin wave interferences for reservoir and neuromorphic computing to enhance computational capabilities. His other interests include playing football, swimming, and watching horror movies.

Vivek Kumar
Vivek is a 2nd year MSPD student in Department of physics working on light matter interaction, between photons and magnons in a hybrid system. His current interest is performing numerical simulations to achieve strong coupling by optimizing the geometry of SRR and by inducing anisotropy in YIG thin films. He also love to watch movies and web-series, playing video games.

Devesh Sootail
Devesh is a fourth year BTech student in Department of Aeropace engineering. Currently he is dealing with a project where he is working on low power spintronic devices, Investigation of non-linear magnetization dynamics in FM and P-bits based stochastic computing. He is also dealing with Automation using LabVIEW.
