<<How to Reach IIT Kanpur>>

By Air
Kanpur is accessible via two nearby airports: Kanpur Chakeri Airport and Lucknow Amausi Airport. IIT Kanpur is approximately 25 km from Kanpur Chakeri Airport (~1 hour by road). From Lucknow Amausi Airport, the campus is around 90 km away (~2.5 hours by road). App-based taxi services such as Uber, Ola, and Rapido are available at both airports for convenient travel to the campus.

By Train
Kanpur Central Railway Station (CNB) is well-connected to major cities across India. IIT Kanpur is located about 16 km from Kanpur Central. App-based taxi services such as Uber, Ola, and Rapido are readily available at the station. The Kanpur Metro also connects IIT Kanpur to the city center and railway station. By Road
Kanpur is well connect by several major national highways and expressways. Long-distance buses operate regularly from cities such as Lucknow, and Delhi.

Kanpur experiences cold winter (pleasant!) weather in December. Temperatures generally range from a high of approximately 25 degrees C to a low of around 12 degrees C. We recommend bringing warm clothing, such as jackets, sweaters, and shawls, to stay comfortable and protected during your stay.

There are various tourist attractions near Kanpur. These include Bithoor (13 km), Lucknow (100 km), Prayagraj (200 km), Varanasi (350 km), Mathura, Agra and Ayodhya (about 250 km from IITK). The participants can plan and coordinate with travel agents for local arrangements.

Oral Presentation (Award Category)

After a rigorous review by the screening committee, 20 abstracts have been shortlisted for oral presentation under the award category. Details of the selected abstracts and the schedule are provided in the link here.

We have also posted the guidelines for the oral presentation. Please review them here.

All abstracts submitted for oral presentation (award category) but not shortlisted have been automatically included in the poster presentation - award category. Please see below.

Poster Presentation (Award and Non-Award Categories)

All abstracts submitted for poster awards, along with those not shortlisted for oral presentation (award category), have been included in the poster presentation.

Poster sessions are scheduled for December 7 and 8 (Day 1 and Day 2). Each abstract is assigned to one of these days and can be searched using your registration number as the link here.

We have also posted the guidelines for the poster presentation. Please review them here.

Due to the high volume of submissions and limited time slots, we regret that short oral presentations cannot be accommodated for abstracts submitted under the Oral Presentation (non-award).
