Member of the Materials Research Society (MRS), Electrochemical Society (ECS), American Vacuum Society (AVS), and Society of Vacuum Coaters (SVC).
Served as a Trained First-Aider for the Department of Materials at the University of Oxford; also contributed as a member of the Emergency Medical Response and Ergonomics teams at Vitro Glass Tech. Centre, Pittsburgh.
Served as Chair of the Vitro R&D Recognition Committee.
