Bio:

Hi, I'm Dr. Swathi Battula, currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur. I completed my PhD in Electrical Engineering from the Iowa State University in 2021, where I worked on transactive energy system design for integrated transmission and distribution systems. I obtained my Master's degree in Energy Systems Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay in 2015 and my Bachelor's in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Warangal. In the intermediate years between my academic pursuits, I worked at The Tata Power Company as a Lead Engineer during 2011-2013 and as a Research Engineer at the National University of Singapore during 2015-2016.
