Overview
Hi there! I am a PhD student in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, under the guidance of Prof. Yogesh Singh Chauhan. I am associated with Nanolab (215, Western Labs, Academic Area, IIT Kanpur). I completed my undergraduate studies from National Institute of Technology, Srinagar.
My work primarily involves modeling and characterization of semiconductor devices. One of the key areas of my work is to develop compact models for SPICE simulations. I work in close coordination with BSIM group, University of California, Berkeley. I am one of the co-developers of the industry standard BSIM-BULK and BSIM4 (Bulk MOSFET) models.
My hometown is the city of Srinagar located in the Kashmir valley. I am passionate about the advances in the semiconductor technology and keen to be updated in this field. I also like playing Cricket, Table Tennis and Badminton occasionally.
