Overview

Hi there! I am a PhD student in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, under the guidance of Prof. Yogesh Singh Chauhan. I am associated with Nanolab (215, Western Labs, Academic Area, IIT Kanpur). I completed my undergraduate studies from National Institute of Technology, Srinagar.

My work primarily involves modeling and characterization of semiconductor devices. One of the key areas of my work is to develop compact models for SPICE simulations. I work in close coordination with BSIM group, University of California, Berkeley. I am one of the co-developers of the industry standard BSIM-BULK and BSIM4 models.

Academic Achievements

  1. Received Prime Minister's Research Fellowship, IIT Kanpur (lateral entry-2 in August 2023)
  2. Shortlisted for PMRF direct entry in Aug 2021 and lateral entry-1 in Dec 2022 in EE department at IIT Kanpur but fortunately was not selected at the nodal level.
    (IIT Delhi and IIT Madras served as the nodal institutions in 2021 and 2022, respectively).
  3. Secured 96.4% (17th rank statewide) in Senior Secondary Examination.
  4. Secured 90.6% in Secondary School Examination
