For consultancy in networking, telecom, switching, embedded systems, distributed software systems, elearning systems, p2p software systems design,

Some of consultancy work done so far.

  1. Model independent sensor fusion Algorithm design for Attitude and Heading Reference System. Client - Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd.
  2. Ballistic Computer Design - for one of the MBTs used in India. Work included, understanding the documentation, embedded code design, developing interface electronics toward console, optical sight, missile control block and gun controller- Client - confidential.
  3. Distributed software for remote management for oil rig sites - Client confidential.
  4. Auto IMSI selection in java sim cards - BSNL TCOE.

Work which can be converted to startup/monetized based on suitable agreement (looking for investors)

  1. Android app - for remote invigilation of exams using mobile phone even in absence of network connectivity.
  2. Software systems - app, webapp for matchmaking of service seeker and provider, using serverless technology. Example service can be cabs on rent, plumbing, mason, shopkeepers, other service providers. It is with a distributed reputation system to thwart free riding and cheating efforts.
  3. Model independent Navigation system combining different kind of sensors - can be developed for land, aerial and undersea vehicles. Redundancy and removal of unreliable sensor algorithmicaly.
you can contact me directly or Dean of Research and Development, IIT Kanpur. Consultancy work on retainership, or with funding based on project progress is feasible. The costing does depend on IPR sharing model. Consultancy fee and terms and conditions are normally negotiated after evaluating the feasibility of the consultancy.
